Raymond mill airflow adjustment

During its operation, if the ventilation is either too strong or too weak, the fan’s working condition will change. Poor airflow can cause the equipment to become clogged. On the other hand, if the airflow is too strong, the product's qualification rate may decrease. It is evident that airflow plays an important role in the production of Raymond mills.

When the Raymond mill is operating, adjusting the fan’s airflow to a proper level helps achieve the desired fineness. The general approach is to initially open the fan to a larger setting, and then fine-tune it based on the required output and fineness. Proper airflow ensures that finished materials are promptly carried away by the air, preventing excessive fine powder accumulation. The fineness of the final product is also affected by the airflow. Typically, when installing a Raymond mill, the fan is adjusted according to production needs to meet specific requirements. Therefore, during operation, no other major changes are necessary, and the fan speed should not be adjusted arbitrarily.
